Important Information
Attendance. If a student misses a class s/he MUST come in for a make up during the make-up time provided or s/he will sit out until caught up. Please encourage your child to attend each class. Students who are ill should stay home and rest. In case of long-term injury or illness, please discuss it with the teacher or the owner of the studio.
Timeliness. Classes begin on time. Children that are late risk not being allowed into class.
Clothing: Black pants and polo or button down shirt for boys. Black skirt, tights and leotard for girls.
Shoes: A suede soled dance shoe (call the studio for details) or leather soled shoe that stays securely in place.
Parents, visitors, and young siblings: May stay for class if they maintain a quiet and controlled demeanor while at the Heart & Sole Dance Studio. If guests become a distraction to the dancers, they will be asked to leave.
No food or drinks other than bottled water are allowed at the studio.
Drop Off/Pick Up: Children under 12 must be taken to and picked up from class by a parent, guardian or older sibling. Student drop-off and pick-up must be approached with safety taking priority over convenience. Older dancers are reminded to use the utmost safety when entering and exiting the building.
Cancellation: Classes rarely get canceled. We will promptly advise parents using the contact information you provide. We will make every effort to schedule a make-up class if it is necessary.
Recital/Showcase: is in May. Youth classes and private lesson students are included in the recital. Each youth student gets 2 free tickets to the Showcase.
