Since ballroom dancing develops coordination, enhances cardiovascular strength and endurance, builds confidence, improves posture and balance and teaches social values and etiquette... it’s really an excellent sport for children. The unique mixture of mental, physical and social skills learned in ballroom forms well-rounded young adults.
Students will explore the music, history and basics of several popular ballroom dances. Performances on the last day of class.
